Back to Blogger
I switched over to a wordpress blog a few weeks ago, but after fighting with it and not being able to figure out how to add widgets and plug ins without upgrading, I decided to switch back.
Make sure you're signed up for the Brownie Scraps Newsletter, it comes out every Friday with new releases, sales and special announcements. Today's newsletter will have the big announcement of who the newest Baker is!

3 new projects!
Hope you're having a great weekend! I have 2 projects from the last couple of weeks to show you today! I'm working on a few others that I hope to have done tonight, but some of the kits haven't been released yet, so we'll just have to wait for those :)
Angie with Down This Road Designs put together an amazing Mega kit and Add On Bytes for the Brownie Addicts this month, called Pieces of Me!
She's also put together some great bonus packs - check them out HERE! (*images linked to store)
I used the Mega to create this cute Treat Bag!
So cute and the perfect size for candy or other party favors!
I also got to play with Spice of Life by Jacabean Designs. I love this elegant kit! I normally have a hard time working with orange, but I had so much fun with this!
I put together a simple box, but the flower is really the star of the show!
I printed 5 of the same flower in graduated sized, then cut them out (the hardest part of the whole project lol) then I crumpled them all up! Yep, I took the nice shiny printed card stock flowers and crumpled them all up into little balls. Then I carefully uncrumpled them without ripping them, used a paper piercer to poke a hole in the center of each and threaded them onto a little brad. After attaching the brad to the top of the box I arranged the petals and then glued the button from the kit on top! I love the way it turned out!
And last for today, is an adorable kit called Best Friends by Ramona the Pest Designs for all of us pet lovers!
When I saw this, I immediately had a brainstorm (I love it when that happens!) and I knew I wanted to make a "doggy bag"! But I decided to switch it up a bit and ended up with more of a basket than a bag. Still super cute either way! :)
Perfect for someone with a new puppy :)
Keep an eye out on Ramona's blog tomorrow - I'll have another free hybrid printable for you!!
Ok, I'm going to get back to my works in progress - can you believe it's almost September?? Yikes! September is going to be a big month at Brownie Scraps - we're turning 2! Don't forget about the birthday celebration, the Supreme Scrapping Challenge, September Addicts hosted by March of Marni Designs (with new hybrid surprises - YAY!) and lots of sales and some fun announcements!
Enjoy what's left of your weekend!

New Blog and Hybrid Overload!
Welcome to WendyBird Designs! Now that I am focusing on creating and designing hybrid projects, I decided that it was time for a makeover! I have a new design name, a new logo and a new blog! And stay tuned because I will have new projects to show off, new freebies and more!
As of August, I am the new Hybrid Supreme at Brownie Scraps! It's been a busy month, but I've been whipping up some fun projects!

First up, I used Calico Girl by Ramona the Pest Designs to create 2 fun projects!
And even better, you download this FREE printable project on Ramona's Blog!
I love this kit of Ramona's, and I couldn't resist making this fun card for a young friend's birthday!
I was totally inspired by Ramona's Back to School Kit!
And last but not least for today :) This next project was the Brownie Scraps Reunion Hybrid Challenge and I made it for my Grandma's birthday. I used 2 kits made especially for the Reunion, Family and On R Way
Thanks for looking!
